Warehouse & Book Processing Assistants | Northern Beaches

Wheelers Books is a long established and growing company with offices in Australia and New Zealand. As a leading provider of books to schools and libraries across Australasia, we pride ourselves on delivering high quality, shelf ready services.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our supportive team at our Brookvale warehouse. We have multiple casual positions available for both Book Covering and Warehouse Receiving/Packing.

The Roles

You will be an integral part of our Sydney warehouse team, assisting with:

  • Book Processing: Providing shelf-ready services, including accurate item processing, covering, and spine labelling according to specific school requirements.
  • Warehouse Operations: Generalist duties including receiving, processing, and packing orders.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Local Residency: You must reside on the Northern Beaches.
  • Physical Fitness: You are physically fit, comfortable working on your feet, and have good hand eye coordination.
  • Availability: Ability to work up to 25 hours per week on a casual basis.
  • Attention to Detail: This is paramount; you must be able to follow precise instructions and produce highly accurate work.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliability: You are organised, methodical, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements

  • You must live on the Northern Beaches and be legally entitled to work in Australia.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or library environment is an advantage but not essential.
